Birthday Treat

Bought these vouchers for my wife’s birthday. Process was easy and stored in my account. The Atheneum contacted me via email to obtain the codes so when we finished the hotel had taken payment so no need of searching out the voucher codes etc. We had a lovely afternoon & the service they provided was excellent. We opted to have additional bottomless Prosecco & they kept our glasses topped up at timely intervals, never quite empty. Afternoon tea was great, quality sandwiches & cakes.

Friendly Service

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The quality and choice of drinks were good. Food was variable, delicate, well presented cakes but sandwiches dry. Staff were happy to replace the sandwiches.

Afternoon tea

The customer serivce was amazing, the waiters were attentive and kind. Although towards the end of our tea there wasn’t anyone to speak to, to say thank you or ask for anything if needed. The food for the afternoon was good however I would just say it was a little too out there with some of the flavours. The deserts were all far too sweet/sharp so it would have been nice to mix these with some that weren’t as sweet.
