Fabulous Afternoon Tea
Had purchased this as part of my sister’s 60th birthday gifts. The Afternoon Tea is served in a very busy, loud cafe/tea room where we were given a table that we had requested, beside the vast window overlooking St Andrew Sq.
My vegan choice was delicious and so was my sister’s. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. My sister decided to upgrade her Tea to Champagne. This cost an extra £20 which she was happy to pay. We did ask for the discretionary charge to be lifted which they did and we gave a cash tip to the waitress who had been serving us. Not sure if there was a mix up as we had paid upfront for the Afternoon Tea, albeit without my sister’s champagne and the discretionary charge was for the overall amount, hence the reason we asked for this to be taken off. So look out for that.
I would definitely come back again and will let my family and friends know how good it was. Great value for money.
