About the experience

60th afternoon tea
My husband and I had a wonderful time. The food was lovely and there was plenty tea and coffee available. It was really good to have hot food served. E.g. panini, chilli puffs, quiche and hot Mediterranean soup. We sat in front of a cosy log fire on comfy chairs.

Smashing afternoon tea
We picked Augill Castle for our afternoon tea as we were up in the Lakes on holiday and fancied something a little different - we got it! The Castle is quirky, welcoming and fun - and our afternoon tea was substantial and yummy, especially the lemon shortbread! We enjoyed wandering around and reading all about the Castle and its history, and would love to stay there if we are ever up this way again! Highly recommended.

Very nice tea but no fizz!
We went for afternoon tea with fizz at Augill yesterday and it was very nice. However it wasn’t until we were driving away that I suddenly thought we didn’t get our fizz!
It was too late to turn round and go back and partly our fault for not thinking when we were there but I can’t give them 5 stars as we didn’t get the whole experience.
