About the experience
Set in pretty gardens and landscaped grounds in Surrey, Barnett Hill Hotel offers a tranquil setting for a delicious sparkling afternoon tea for two. You and your guest will be warmly welcomed on arrival at this Victorian style mansion house, settling into a comfortable chair in the bright and airy dining room or on the terrace in warmer weather, where you will be served a crisp glass of champagne to enjoy. You’ll be treated to a three-tiered afternoon tea, tucking into fresh finger sandwiches, delicate tea pastries and scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. A selection of teas will be available for you to choose from, which will be brewed to perfection and served alongside this decadent treat, so you can while away the afternoon together, wanting for nothing.
What do I need to know?

Better than we ever thought
It was a great occasion. The hotel is splendid and we were shown into a really nice room and had comfy seats. The champagne appeared first and then the tea. There was no rush at all and we were served with care but with no hassle. There was too much food but little boxes were provided without us asking for us to take home the cakes we did not eat then and so our afternoon tea continued at home another day!

Champagne Afternoon Tea
Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon tea experience. Food was great, as were the friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Accommodated our dogs and also provided a very good gluten free option.
Some confusion over it being a champagne afternoon tea, as this was unclear on the voucher or the email sent to hotel. They were very good at sorting this out, but it might be helpful to you to know this for future reference.

Afternoon Tea
Lovely setting in Surrey Hills and a really nice cosy room for the tea. Scones were really nice, cakes were pretty good but could have done with more sandwiches and I didn’t think they were great. Overall a nice experience though with friendly staff
