About the experience
Step into Victorian London and explore the world of Charles Dickens on this fascinating 2½-hour walking tour. Discover the streets, landmarks and hidden corners that inspired his most famous works, including Great Expectations and A Christmas Carol . Led by a knowledgeable guide, you’ll learn about Dickens’ early life, his passion for social reform and his influence on 19th-century London. The tour ends with a drink at one of his favourite historic pubs—an atmospheric finale to a journey through the life and legacy of a literary icon.
What do I need to know?

Great option for lovers of Downton Abbey
This was my second trip to Highclere Castle in 8 months, but this time in the very capable hands of Fiona (Brit Tours) and a lovely driver (Alex) who kept us entertained for the duration of the trip. The village of Bampton is definitely worth the visit and Highclere Castle most certainly will not disappoint
