Chill time
I visited the pure spa within the HY hotel at Lytham St Ann’s with my son . There’s parking directly outside and very easy to find. The therapy staff were very friendly on arrival and we were not kept waiting. We had the 40min back neck and shoulder message. You had a choice or oils which was fantastic to suit the mood. I can honestly say we had a fab time. We were able to chill in pool area which had a steam room , sauna and jacuzzi. The pool facility’s were well maintained. We took our towels but the spa will provide if you haven’t got yours. This is definitely one to go back to with friends for an overnight stay and retail therapy .

Awful Experience
I’ve waited months and months for this appointment as I booked it one week before my wedding and they have called me up an hour before it to say they can’t accommodate me. I have already left as I was already travelling a bit to get there. They did offer me other appointments but they were in further locations and neither partner would actually have the massage together but instead we would be one after the other. Completely ruins the idea of relaxing together. For the price we paid this is ridiculous

Worst consumer experience ever
Without exaggeration buyagift was the worst consumer experience I have had. The website is buggy and often misleading (i.e. filters for activities in a specific area are totally broken). It is impossible to determine your budget or credit remaining and the process of actually getting vouchers and presenting them to a host / service provider is very confusing. This is all totally unacceptable for a site where the purchase has already been made. It is very clear that everything on the site has been cynically geared towards trying to upsell and get more from the customer and this is extremely off putting on a site that already has a purchase and where the primary goal should be the easy access to services / experiences. I will be actively avoiding buyagift or any associated brands.
