About the experience

Head to the vibrant centre of Shoreditch to indulge yourselves in the ultimate afternoon tea! A former Police Station of the Old Street Magistrate’s Court, this Grade II listed building retains many of its original features such as the original holding cells. Stylishly renovated, it now offers a laid-back, elegant bar to enjoy an afternoon in. Sit down to a spread of pastries including almond frangipane slice, William pear turnovers, blackcurrant Eton mess and Victoria sandwiches, as well as plain and fruit sultana scones with cream and jam and a selection of delicious savoury sandwiches too. Enjoy this fabulous treat alongside a sparkling glass of Champagne to celebrate this wonderful occasion!

Lovely gift

Excellent venue for an afternoon tea. Lovely food with two glasses of Champagne. Didn't look as good as the picture but was very nice. Excellent service.

Excellent Afternoon Tea

My daughter and I enjoyed this as a gift for a big birthday. The hotel was lovely, an impressive setting. The service was good. We had finger sandwiches, 2 freshly baked scones, then a selection of cakes. Plenty of jam and cream were provided. We each had our own small cake stand, a nice touch. We really enjoyed it and were able to relax as we weren't made to feel rushed. Totally recommended, one of the best teas I've had.

Excellent service and food

Lovely setting with very friendly accommodating staff. The food was excellent especially the cakes, I had to try them all but couldn’t finish them. Would love to return

Great Afternoon Tea

We had a champagne afternoon tea on the roof terrace of this former Courthouse and Police Stn, it was great. Great views, good food and drinks with good service. Well worth doing.
