Fantastic afternoon tea great service, delicious food one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had in London I would thoroughly recommend !

We arrived at 13.30 immediately after visiting the Wonderlab at TSM. Starving..the weather was lovely, the place was heaving. We were welcomed by Anamil, lovely chap, friendly and was good with making the birthday girl feel happy. We chose from the set menu..regular adult and Child. I had a selection of tea to choose from.. she only had hot chocolate as a choice which was perfect..the hot chocolate arrived in a heat changing mug with various sprinkles in test tubes. Followed by making fizzy lemonade Laboratory glassware, pre filled pipettes on a kidney shaped tray.. that was fun and colourful. Then the rocket shaped sandwich holders arrived, mine was on a normal stand.. space shaped balls.. sandwiches and to top it off they invited her in the count down for the rocket to take off, when they poured water on dry ice to firm smoke..which was a 'wow' for her. We had complimentary ice-cream with popping candy.. followed. By a complete surprise, a tray of chocolates shaped as planets with a candle, arriving to everyone singing happy birthday to her . Really lovely.. what a lovely afternoon..The toilets were regularly cleaned.. about 5 toilets..we read mixed reviews before arriving..so we went with no expectations. Well we were pleasantly surprised. All the staff were warm and friendly.

Excellent surroundings with very helpful and informative staff. The food was lovely and we were asked if we wanted more. The science theme was an enjoyable novelty.

Took my son to this for his 13th birthday. He loved all the theatrics and little activities to do, like mixing the drinks and 'digging' for treasure. It is really fun and makes it stand out from the usual afternoon teas. We were offered seconds on the savoury items too, but only asked for a couple, as we were getting quite full. There were sprinkles to decorate the scones and the desserts were so delicious. The dining room was airy and bright with beautiful decor. Highly recommended.
