About the experience
Carrygerry is a charming "Old World " country house, which was built in 1793, near Shannon, in the West of Ireland. This beautiful property has eleven bedrooms, which are all en-suite but each one is individually styled and decorated in keeping with the character of the house. The award winning Conservatory Restaurant which overlooks the Shannon and Fergus estuary has the perfect ambience for a romantic dinner. Carrygerry is also a perfect location for a golf enthusiast as some of the finest golf courses the West of Ireland can offer are in very close proximity.

Relaxing charming highly recommend
A wonderful overnight stay. A haven in the countryside but only short drive to Shannon Airport, Bunratty and Ennis Town. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Delicious food and wonderful service. We will definately return. Thank you.

Charming & Great Location!
My Husband and I decided on the Carrygerry Country House and we were not disappointed. We arrived and fell in love with this quiet hideaway manor immediately. The very friendly Gillian made us feel at home and the beautifully decorated bedroom had a great view of the surrounding fields and gardens. It is very close to the airport, local stores and Bunratty Castle (Highly Recommended) which were all only a short distance away. The Traditional Irish breakfast was very enjoyable also. All in all a great experience and we would return to the Carrygerry again.

My Husband and I had to drive up the West coast of Ireland as we were visiting different family along the way. I saw the CarryGerry Hotel on Buyagift and thought it looked very cosy (which it was). Everything you hear about Irish hospitality is true the people at the hotel were so lovely they really did go out of there way to give us the nicest possible stay. Will be returning.

Carrygerry really is one of the most charming and lovely hotels we have ever stayed in. The Shannon River provides the most beautiful and romantic backdrop you could imagine would definately recommend it to anyone.
