Fantastic getaway
We loved spending the night, food was tasty, venue was quiet, good atmosphere and nice breakfast.

Overnight break
Our 2nd stay here. Nice hotel, big rooms. The bed was very firm but did sag in, so had to sleep on the edge so didn’t get much sleep,also because it’s a old hotel was noisy could hear guests above you moving around. Lift was out of order so stairs were a bit of a struggle. Need bigger towels in bathroom. Dinner was delicious although not many choices.

Fabulous time
Only gave 4 stars even though we had a 5 star time this is simply because the difficulty in getting booked in after trying endlessly to get someone to answer the phone then being told repeatedly they are a wedding venue and that is priority even to be told if we made a booking and a wedding then wanted to book that day our booking would be cancelled. We couldn't book on a weekend because these are saved in case a wedding wants to book.
