About the experience
Get to grips with the world of scuba diving with this fantastic two-day course. This PADI Open Water Referral course takes you through all the confined water (pool) sessions teaching you safety and buoyancy skills as well as theory sessions. This will prepare you to go on and complete your Open Water Dives at a later date, maybe while on holiday.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available on Saturdays and Sundays
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Students aged 10–14 years will be able to do the Junior Open Water Referral course but a parent or guardian must be present at the pool session
- You are advised to bring a swimming costume and towel
- No previous experience required but you must be able to swim 200m and tread water for 10 minutes
- A medical questionnaire and safety forms must be completed prior to start of the course
- Spectators are welcome but must pre-book with the dive centre
- All dates are subject to availability

Open Water Referral
Spent the day in the pool with two great instructors. Paul and Kieron made sure that we not only learnt about the essentials we also thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was also only two of us on that particular course so the instruction was pretty much tailored to us individually. I enjoyed my time so much I was back at the lake the following week completing my training and doing some open water dives.
