Painting Lesson for One at Georgie Mason Art

Get in touch with your creative side with a three-hour painting session at Georgie Mason Art in London. A session at Georgie’s art studio is the perfect opportunity to escape the outside world for a few hours, unwinding in this peaceful and encouraging environment and retuning your creativity. Alongside up to nine other like-minded folk, you'll be guided by an experienced and friendly teacher – either Georgie or Mona. They are both intuitive abstract painters who are interested in the therapeutic effects of art. Enjoy a short meditation and some mindful art exercises in line with the month's theme before constructing your own masterpiece. Build texture, learn about colour mixing and mark-making and unleash your imagination! The ideal workshop for prospective painters lacking the materials or motivation to get going, this engaging class will reconnect you with your inner artist.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Available weekends, year round
• Classes will take place at Flow Space in Dalston from January–May, and at Stepney City Farm from the 2nd April
• There is an additional £8 charge if you wish to use oil paints and £25 for another canvas
• Lunch is available at either Kaffa Ethiopian Café or the Stepney City Farm Café for an additional charge, payable directly to the supplier on the day. Please inform the supplier if you do not want lunch at the point of booking
• Minimum age: 16 years
• Expect to share the experience with up to nine other artists
