Pamper Treat for One at Aneugene Health Centre

I booked a deep tissue massage at Aneugene health clinic in Battersea. The massage started off well until the phone rang in the massage room and the masseuse picked up and continued to book an appointment for the caller - all whilst half-heartedly massaging me with her one spare hand! As if this interruption wasn’t enough, a customer walked into the clinic and even though there was another lady working in the clinic at the time, my masseuse stopped once again, left the room and sorted out the customer before returning 5 minutes later. It was hard to tell if I even got my full 30 minutes because the appointment also started 15 minutes late. Finally, near the end of the massage the masseuse’s colleague started talking to her through the door of my treatment room, and they had a full blown conversation whilst I was still being treated! The massage did the job in terms of my muscles but it was the most unrelaxing and interrupted massage I’ve ever experienced and I certainly wouldn’t recommend the experience to anyone. There was quite ‘spa music’ playing in the background the whole time, which tells me it was meant to be a relaxing, calm environment... but it was definitely a functional massage over an enjoyable one.
