About the experience
Get in gear for an exciting and unique mountain karting experience at Zip World in North Wales. Quarry Karts will see you steering your way down the Penrhyn Quarry mountains. Find your way around and attempt to swerve all the obstacles along the way. You’ll face plenty of chicanes, steep-sided corners and tunnels throughout the dirt track! Above your head will be the world’s fastest zip line and surrounding you will be the beautiful mountain range of Snowdonia, the perfect setting for an exciting outdoor karting adventure for two. Take in the stunning views as you enjoy a thrilling go on the track each.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for two people
- It is available to use week round, year round
- This experience will last for around two hours
- Minimum height: 1.2m
- Maximum weight: 130kg
- You will need to present a doctor’s note in order to take part if you suffer from heart conditions or epilepsy
- If this experience is postponed due to adverse weather conditions, you will be able to reschedule within 12 months but won't be entitled to a refund
- This is an outdoor experience you should dress accordingly, with waterproofs where necessary. T-shirts and shorts are not permitted
- One participating adult that is 18 years and above is required for every four children under 18 years
- You are required to wear gloves to take part in this adventure. You can bring your own or purchase them on the day.

Great experience, such fun!
This was a hoot! Quite a walk to the base, then an old army truck chugs you up the massive hill to the start point - quite a rough ride - good instruction, safety gear in reasonable condition (various sizes) … be sure to check what you can wear properly otherwise you’ll be required to ‘hire’ a boiler suit for £5 if you pay the extra £13 for the camera footage be aware they only give you the camera for one run (the final one) not for both runs but the instructions are clear it’s easy to download to your phone/ipad/laptop. All round a great experience!
