What's included?
- A two-hour singing session at the choir's rehearsal studio in the afternoon
- Join a group of up to 14 participants to learn about the history of gospel music as well as techniques to project your voice as part of the choir
- After a break, return to meet the rest of the choir and join in on a performance of the song you have learnt
About the experience
The London Community Gospel Choir has brought joy to audiences worldwide with their soulful musical flair. This is your chance to put your singing skills to the test and join these incredible singers with a full rehearsal and a rendition of the classic 'Oh Happy Day '.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- The experience takes place on Wednesdays, approximately once every three months
- The vocal training takes place at a recording studio in Walthamstow
- You may bring a maximum of two spectators, however please be aware that there will be breaks in the rehearsal as this is not a live performance
- Minimum age: 18 years

My mother loves gospel music and sings a lot herself. She has all the London Community Gospel Choir's CDs so when I came across this on Buyagift I had to get it for her.She was just completely overwhelmed and excited to be singing with them I went to watch and their voices really are spectacular very uplifting.

I have always loved singing and sing my heart out in the shower or at karaoke but never really sang (sober) in public before this gift experience day. It was a truly incredible thing singing real gospel with the London Community Gospel Choir. I felt like Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act! And I can't get #oh happy day# out of my head!
