Firstly this was how I was spending my birthday with my best friend. We booked this to relax and unwind from a stressful time. Firstly we was warned there would only be one masseuse and we would have to go one after the other which we was happy to do. The massages were booked for later in the afternoon but we asked to move to the morning if they had availability which they were kind enough to do this. What we didn’t realise ifs the afternoon tea is not at the spa it is upstairs in a restaurant. Meaning you have to get all dressed and showered to have your meal. This was annoying as the afternoon tea was supposedly booked for 1pm and was not able to be moved. The treatment was lovely (back scrub and massage) but I was stressed about the afternoon tea throughout. By the time we was finished with the massages we had about 1hr to spend in the spa facilities. Please do not book during the school holidays, kids screaming everywhere it was stressful. Spare my no kids allowed in the pool after 12pm if that helps. It was not the most relaxing experience. We rushed to get ready for the afternoon tea to find there was no plug sockets anywhere in the changing room so we could not use our hair styling equipment to look nice for the rest of the day, they only supplied hair dryers. How ridiculous for a female changing room! When we went to the afternoon tea we was not booked. The waiter had to go down to the spa and find out what happened. Apparently we was not added to the system which was very embarrassing. Once we seated for the afternoon tea FINALY, it was lovely and everything went smoothly from there thank god! Honestly I wouldn’t return here I think the organisation is poor and the whole thing was the complete opposite to what I was looking for.
