Girly treat 2 For course meal +spa treatment
From the friendly welcome at reception to the treatments and food everything was perfect Would definitely recommend it to anyone

special day out
ive always wanted to go for a spa day,have had massages before,but not a proper spa treat.My son wanted to come & being a 70th birthday,thouht it would be nice to join me,then we would have lunch too,which was included.The hotel was amazing,we checked in at reception,was given gown & towel,then went to get changed.It was a chilly morning so staff asked us to sit in pool area,it was lovely & warm.Never thought to bring cossy,cos you could use the facilities for the day if wanted( would another time)We then went to seperate massage rooms,after deciding which treatment we liked.The ladies were great masseurs,so relaxing & gentle.We got an hour each &\ had lunch booked for 1pm,previous appt 11am.My son actually went in the pool afterwards & went in the sauna.It was a very nice atmosphere,would love to do it all again.The restaurant was nice too,staff polite & helpful.The only disappointment for me was,that the offer said 2 course meal,but on looking at menu it was for sandwiches,light bites & pizzas,i was expecting a proper a la carte choice,maybe it depends on the price of the buyagift,but defo said 2 course meal.I had soup,my son panini,chips & coleslaw,didnt even ask for another course,it was the only menu they had.Drinks obviously,we paid for,over all it was a lovely day,but the meal did let the hotel down.

A relaxing couple of hours
We enjoyed the spa treatments (facial
And back massage) very much.
However because there is no pool, the only spa facilities are hot tubs, ice tub and a sauna so not much to do. Free drinking water if you want it. The 2 course lunch was nice.

Not so good
It took ages to book the date,the spa was af the hotel was dated,the spa staff where terrible,no help no idea what was going on,the spa was dated,unkempt,the massage girls where excellent,the food was good,but the customer experience was not good
