Two Night Break for Two with Dinner and Breakfast at Farington Lodge Hotel

It's as good as the description a lovely hotel in stunning grounds it quiet great for relaxing but also not to far from shops the food is also as good as the rest of the hotel good value the portions are large you won't walk away hungry and the staff are attentive helpful and very welcoming all in all a great place to come

We go to this area several times a year and I must say that Farington Lodge is a great find. Its very beautiful I love the the traditional and classic decor. Anyone whose been tot he Lake District doesnt need me to tell them how stunning it is and this hotel is excellently placed for it.

our children bought the voucher as a ruby wedding weekend away.when i booked the weekend i was asked how much the voucher was for, i explained it was a gift and didnt want to know and read the details of the voucher to the receptionist. she said oh i will put you in the bridal suite.when the conformation came through. it states we were in a standard room with breakfast included and stated the cost. when i showed my daughter she said that the voucher was worth alot more than we were being allocated by the hotel.She rang and complained the hotel changed the booking to use the full value of the voucher..The hotel was very nice the extras were as promised. Fruit basket ,bathrobes and slippers. Paul the waiter was very attentive and helped make the weekend special. We were in room 3 which was large and on first impression clean.. we found lots of dust and cobwebs , false eyelashes on the bedroom floor and money under the bed throw Perhaps the cleaners should look under the bed when they clean a room. Food was ok . nothing special.
