Lovely B&B in beautiful countryside with a wonderful breakfast.
Yellow House is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Avril is a friendly and welcoming host. On arrival of our 2 night stay, we were shown to our room with a smile. Our room was comfortable with a decent en-suite shower room. Coffee and tea (with plenty of milk - which is a bonus!) and biscuits were provided in our room both mornings. Our breakfasts were cooked to order and out of this world delicious!! The menu was varied and plentiful. The local village pub is within a short 5 minute walk, and the food is good. The landlord and locals are very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. The area surrounding Yellow House is stunning and great for walks. We would definitely stay here again. Thank-you Avril for your wonderful hospitality!!

Yellow House Farm
We stayed here for 2 nights in June. Such a lovely place, so peaceful and quiet. Avril provides the most amazing huge breakfast and is very friendly and helpful.

Very satisfying
Stayed at this lovely B and B in late September 2023. It's conveniently set in the pleasant village of West Woodburn, just off the A68, amid the National Park and close to the Scottish border. With ample parking, the attractive stone house provides an excellent base for exploring the Northumberland National Park and is within a short drive of Hexham, Otterburn and the Keilder forest and Reservoir. Avril the host provides very comfortable and attractive ensuite rooms with excellent views of the local countryside. The breakfasts are among the most generous and wide ranging you could sample and are taken in an attractive dining room. Just beyond the latter is a spacious lounge with great seating and views. Spacious gardens can also be used freely. Avril is anxious to ensure your every comfort and is able to provide ideas for walks and visits to nearby attractions. We will certainly return.
