About the experience
Head to Chapel Down Winery in Kent for a tasting experience to tantalise your senses. With this two-and-a-half-hour wine and cheese tasting experience, you’ll get to sample some of the finest local wines and cheeses. Start off with a fascinating guided tour around the vineyards and winery, where you’ll go behind the scenes and learn all about the vineyard cycle, viticulture practices, winemaking and sparkling wine production. Then, guided by an expert, you’ll try out a range of pairings of Chapel Down still and sparkling wines with local English cheeses, each carefully selected to create a flavour sensation. A really love.y afternoon. Our tour leader Tom was very knowledgeable and very interesting. The wine and cheese on offer was really tasty. I’ve done a few wine tours in England and this was one is easy to recommend. Excellent choice of wines and really good offers in the shop. I would highly recommend this tour

Chapel Down wine and cheese
We had a lovely time yesterday at Chapel Down. Our guide, Lou, was professional and knowledge.
The tour was a little short though. However this was made up by the wine and cheese part.
All 5 cheeses and all 5 wines were paired together brilliantly. I am not a fan of posh smelly cheeses….and there were none! These were all just fabulous tasting simple cheeses and were fab with the wines. The taste of both were really enhanced by enjoying them together.
It was a fab afternoon and the voucher at the end was perfect as we bought a bottle of the expensive stuff and we wouldn’t normally do that!

Great Experience
We had the full experience of being shown around the vineyard, with an interesting history of how it all started and all the different types of vines followed by the processes used to produce the various wines.
Moving inside we experienced a great session on pairing the wines with some gorgeous cheeses. So happy with the gift, great experience and something I would happily repeat.
