This classic English coaching inn oozes charm with inglenook fireplaces, flagstone floors, oak-panelled walls and stylish country furnishings. Whether you’re celebrating an occasion or like to indulge from time to time, this afternoon tea is sure to impress. Delight in moreish finger sandwiches with assorted fillings like smoked salmon, cucumber and cream cheese, ham and wholegrain mustard and egg mayonnaise with mustard cress. Then delve into plain and fruit scones with lashings of clotted cream and strawberry jam and a selection of mini cakes and pastries. Toast the occasion with a warming brew or coffee each.

Lovely afternoon tea
We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Bell Inn in the New Forest. Lovely fresh homemade food and great service. Too much for us to eat, so had to take some home in a box. Would highly recommend.

Nice afternoon out
The afternoon tea was very good and served in pleasant surroundings. The journey back through the New Forest was also a treat as we saw all the animals including donkeys pigs and a stag, which brought a memorable afternoon to a satisfying close
