About the experience
Step back into the 1960’s and explore the beautiful Heartbeat country in Yorkshire. A 6 hour deluxe tour will take you to fascinating locations such as the seaside town of Whitby, which not only has strong links to Heartbeat but also to Dracula and Captain Cook. On top of this you can see the glorious heather moorland of the National Park and stop off at the Aidensfield Arms Pub for a pint, as well as visiting Aidensfield station which transformed into the magical village of Hogsmeade for the first Harry Potter movie. After the tour you will land back in the 21st century in the centre of York to carry on the fun at one of the many restaurants and bars in the city.

Good with reservations
Tour was enjoyable however it was very late getting back. The guide said we may be a little late and has anyone got a train around 5pm. As our train was 6.20pm said nothing, big mistake we missed it and had to pay again as the tickets were for a specific train.

Anniversary gift
We took the tour today. It was good to see the locations, but I was excepting a bit more from the series to depict the era.

Not a strong Heartbeat!
This was not so much a tour as a coach trip. I'm sure the guide had lots to tell us about heartbeat and aidensfield but he couldn't get the microphone to work properly on the coach. Aidensfield (Goathland) is really just one street so not much to tour. The pub was shut, but Scripps Garage and the general store were open, both souvenir shops. A couple of vintage Ford Anglia's were parked up and were acting as charity collection points but not sure what charities. Whitby was nice for a lunch stop, but don't remember it having a huge connection with Heartbeat. Not sure this was really worth the money my sister paid, as you could easily do this visit under your own steam.
