Fab treatment and lunch
A Mother’s Day present in which I paid a bit extra to have an extended facial which was great and couldn’t fault the 2 course lunch either. The staff were friendly and attentive. However I have given 3 stars due to the facilities. The steam room was not working properly so couldn’t go in there and there is no jacuzzi. The small swimming pool is used by both hotel and spa guests and unfortunately we could not use it much as children were using it and splashing everyone. The lounge area is around the pool, so not really relaxing if it is busy. There needs to be a separate area.
This was the first time using Buyagift and if you’re using multiple vouchers I found quite tricky. The spa day with afternoon tea came as two vouchers and was unable to use these at the same place even though the spa offered afternoon tea. The process was very confusing and I was unable to book the afternoon tea part as it had disappeared from my account.

Needs a refurb
The facilities are very shabby and the pool area wasn't very clean. The whole spa could do with a refurb. Even though we arrived 30 mintes after the start time there was no-one from the spa team to show us where to go. The massage I had was very good and lunch was very nice.
