One Day Indian Cookery Class at The Cooking Academy

Spend a full day discovering how to bring restaurant-style Indian dishes into your own kitchen. After a relaxed welcome, your tutor explains how to layer spices and marinades before guiding you through a varied menu, from chilli and fennel chicken kebabs and fish masala spice blends to raita, onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes and masala chicken. With step-by-step demonstrations and time to practise each technique, you finish with a selection of dishes boxed to enjoy at home.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Available week round, year round
• This experience lasts around five to five and a half hours
• Minimum age: 13 years
• The class is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those with gluten intolerance
• A supplementary charge applies for vegan or kosher menus; vegan options are typically £10 per day, with kosher pricing confirmed based on the class
• Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes; flip-flops and open-toed shoes are not permitted
• Use of all cooking equipment and ingredients
• Dietary requirements should be provided within 24 hours of booking and at least 28 days before the class for allergy advice
• There is no disabled access
• Please inform the venue of any dietary requirements at the point of booking
• Please bring suitable lidded containers to take home dishes prepared during the class
• At least 28 days’ notice is required to amend or cancel a booking
