Luxurious hotel
Relaxing experience at a beautiful Hotel. There were many Hotel options available to choose from.

Pleasant Stay
A 4 star establishment that certainly lived up to its rating.
Booking in at reception smooth and staff were efficient and friendly.
Double room on the 1st floor was immaculate and overlooked the canal.
Evening meal from the a la carte menu very good and the buffet breakfast superb.
We did not avail ourselves of the spa or fitness suite but the short time we were there was most enjoyable.

Overnight Break
So... in a nutshell:
Restaurant food = Fantastic
Leisure facilities = Satisfactory
Hotel room = Appalling! Headboard hanging off wall and the leatherette covering on it was so worn, bits were peeling off and sticking to the pillows and bed sheets. Air-con not working. No windows to open. Dirty/stained shower curtain.
Hotels response to the above concerns = Shocking! "Thank you for raising your concerns sir. We will get a member of the maintenance team to look at that on Monday" how helpful on a Saturday and you are only staying one night!!
