About the experience
Start your career behind the wheel! This pottery wheel experience at Poppins Pottery is a great way to gain a new hobby and get creative. Join a small group for an in-depth workshop. Starting from scratch, you will be guided on how to work the clay, centre it on the wheel and you'll be shown how to use the wheel to make a pot shape of your choice. Mould and sculpt the perfect shape and then leave the finished creation to be kiln-fired by Poppins Pottery, who will send it to you by post when it’s finished!

Excellent experience
I bought this for my partner, not knowing what to expect. The experience was worth every penny. We had the best time, it was so enjoyable as well as being informative. We laughed so much. We received our pots yesterday. Proud moment lol. We would certainly recommend this experience, and would love to do it again

Brilliant, give it ago
Had a great afternoon learning to throw. We did it as a couple, but they have 4 wheels, so you could do it as a bigger group.
The other half took to it like a duck to water, I wasn't as quick off the mark. I was given more guidance, and I improved (I think). Also need to switch off the brain, stop thinking and feel what your doing.
We made 3 bits, we got to pick one that is fired. But there is an opportunity to but a 2nd, which was reasonably priced.
You also get to choose what colour your piece is.
It was a great taster and can go at different paces. Everything is explained and questions are welcomed.

Great activity
This was a birthday gift from my daughter. We had a really enjoyable experience making our pots at the pottery. Lovely and friendly instructor. Would definitely recommend this experience and would do it again.

Amazing first experience
I got this for my birthday present and absolutely loved it. Me and my girlfriend went, the place was so welcoming a lovely cabin in the back garden. Everything you needed was provided, including aprons, we got to make numerous pots with the clay, and was shown how to do different things with them. We also got to decorate them how we wanted. We also took away lots of information about firing to pots and how Pottery works. Was fascinating. Would deffo go back and take a friend or recommend them to go there. Can't wait for our pots to arrive in the post all ready to use!
