Private Bespoke Ceramics Workshop for One with Katherine Fortnum Ceramics

Embark on a ceramics adventure where your artistry journey into the world of clay begins. Enthusiasts or experienced potters alike can delve into this private bespoke workshop for one, with award-winning degree qualified ceramist Katherine Fortnum. With over a decade of experience and an impressive list of accolades, Katherine is a ceramic maestro ready to impart her knowledge to eager enthusiasts. Whether you're a novice or exploring for the first time, or a seasoned potter, Katherine will provide you with tailored support and guidance throughout. One the day, you'll be guided through skills you need with a demonstration of how your chosen hand building technique or item, before exploring a variety of building and decorating techniques that will immerse you in your ceramics experience. Katherine will be on hand throughout the session provide you with bespoke personalised one to one tuition. You'll leave your unique creations at the studio to be carefully dried out and undergo a 72-hour bisque firing at 1000 degrees. They'll be ready to collect approximately 8 weeks later, or opt for postage at an additional fee.

• Minimum age: 8 years
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• This experience is not wheelchair accessible, there are four small steps into the studio
• This workshop is suitable for all abilities
• Due to high demand, it is advised that you book this experience 6 months in advance
• Please arrive 10 minutes before your arranged booking time
• Once it's ready, you can collect your creation from the studio or arrange postage for an additional fee
• All dates are subject to availability
