Excellent meal at this delightful restaurant
My friend and I visited for a 7 course taster lunch menu and we were delighted. Being a hot day we were offered a table in their outside courtyard which is very pleasant. The dishes came out with perfect timing so we had a short break between each, and all were delicious - tasty, with good combinations of spices for the meat, fish or vegetables in the dish. Service was efficient and friendly, and there was a good selection of cocktails, beers, wines and non alcoholic drinks.
A thoroughly enjoyable lunch, well worth the hour drive for us to get there, and somewhere I will be glad to return to one day.

Terrific Experience
We have eaten at 3 of Atul Kochhar’s restaurants including Benares in Mayfair. The food, ambience and service at this restaurant was top notch and topped off by meeting Atul himself as he checked on his guests. Brilliant experience.

Riwaz generally good but a bit rushed for a 7.30 pm booking for two.
Food interesting.
Generally good but a few things worth noting..
I emailed (as directed by buyagift) voucher number ahead but totally ignored any acknowledgement so ..on arrival was offered standard restaurant menu.. so I showed the voucher I brought, suspecting confusion, then menus were withdrawn and attitude noticeably altered.
Food whilst pleasant and interesting was brought too rapidly so I had to ask for ten minutes gaps, each time.
Food course descriptions by staff were rushed and a bit incomprehensible at times.
Staff and ambiance pleasant enough but I did feel rushed.
Sorbet was very good and well timed.
Overall good but some magic USP needed to make it a special dining experience.
