About the experience
Established in 1905, and still in the family today, H. Forman & Sons is an iconic smokehouse in London that has been producing the finest Scottish smoked salmon for over a century. If you’re a lover of smoked salmon, then you’ll love this behind the scenes tour! You’ll take a tour around the premises, learning the processes that go in o producing the finest smoked Scottish salmon. Next, you can relax in the Forman's on-site restaurant with a delicious smoked salmon platter to share. Listen to a fascinating talk on the history of the smokehouse, receive a carving demonstration from Guinness World Record-holder Darren Matson and tour the gallery. Feel free to purchase salmon goodies before leaving.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- The tour runs at least six times a year, usually once every two months on either a Friday or Saturday
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Wheelchair users can be accommodated, please specify requirements at point of booking
- The smokehouse is cold so warm clothes with long sleeves are recommended, along with closed toe shoes and no high heels (as there are steps down to the smokehouse). Compulsory safety wear is provided on arrival
- All participants must sign a disclaimer form on the day
