Best hotel ever
Stayed her Mon to Wed in November.Perfect hotel perfect location and amazing service.The hotel has so many original features plus lovely open fires and homely feel.Our room was perfect very clean and everything we needed.Breakfast both mornings was the best we have had and very pleasant staff.Grounds are beautiful and staff kindly printed us a lovely circular walk through Troutbeck village.Would recommend it was wonderful.

Super Stay
I love the Lakes and this visit lived up to my expectations. The hotel is located on the road between Windermere and Ambleside, well placed off the road, up a long drive. The gardens are beautiful, very well maintained.
I was very happy with the hotel, even though we had a back room. It was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. We loved reading the papers in the lounge, looking out over a lovely view - even a peek of the lake. The best part for me was the fact that you can leave the car in the car park and walk out from the back of the hotel to find the path between Troutbridge and Ambleside. Alternatively, you only have to cross the main road to visit the National Park visitors centre at Brickhole. Ideal!

Fantastic 2 night stay with the buy a gift deal, brilliant hotel in a lovely idyllic location overlooking Lake Windermere. Amazing quality and value for the price paid, I would 100% recommend this to everyone.
