About the experience
Enjoy a day’s class at the Phoenix Forge and learn the age old artform of knife and blade forging with an experience for one. Start out by learning tips and tricks from the professional instructors at hand before moving onto basic techniques. Warm up at the forge by first crafting a letter opener to get to grips with how it works. Then move onto forging a working knife, with steels and shapes of your choosing. End the day by taking home your very own letter opener and forged knife that you yourself crafted.
What do I need to know?

Really good experience
Really good day at the forge. Knowledgeable and friendly instructor took the group through making a basic knife step by step. Hard work but we’ll worth it.

Great different gift idea
Changed the day to an axe making workshop. Had a great day with a good group of people. Would definitely visit again. Learnt something new and was surprised at how hard it was to mould the metal. William was great, helpful and encouraging to all.
