This was brought for us by our son, we chose to go to Bristol and had a great few days wandering around the city. The hotel couldn’t fault, we even got a free upgrade. Thank you.

We have just returned from our over night stay and have had a lovely couple of days. My treatment was perfect, the food delicious and as ever, the staff were friendly and attentive. I did notice that there seemed to be staff sat around, working on laptops and taking teams calls in the grand salon which was a little off putting when you’re there to relax. Other than that, it was perfect!

When we turned up we thought why is the spa near an aldi, but we were so pleased when we arrived. I was delayed due to a motorway accident and they moved my treatment to the next day without bother. The staff were friendly and helpful, the spa was lovely, and the food was fantastic. We had a lovely break, thank you for making it a lovely birthday treat.

Amazing hotel and amazing facilities. The 3 course lunch was absolutely delicious and really did exceed expectations. Definitely hoping to return in the future. Our package didn't come with a treatment which we had to add on for £75pp; however my mum did mention that this was the best massage she had ever had (done by Catherine). It did however come with the fire and ice included which was great however we didn't get our full time as the lady let us in late and we had a treatment booked straight after. Apart from this, was an absolutely perfect get away with my mum for her birthday.

I bought this gift for my boyfriend for Christmas and we chose this week as it was our year anniversary. We booked it with the voucher I had and booked to have breakfast as well. We arrived and given our keys straight away. We went up to our room and although could do with a bit of a refurbishment was lovely enough. It was spacious and bright with a lovely view of the river. Water pressure was a bit low but again it was lovely soft water in comparison to our hard water. We had plenty of tea and coffee and water. Breakfast was lovely and included continental and cooked so we had so much to fill us. Staff were so lovely and we felt well looked after. Thank you Royal Lodge for a wonderful couple of days away. We will be back!

I brought this experience for my husband’s 50th Birthday surprise. We had a fabulous stay, the staff were exceptional & really stand out, especially the restaurant manager (Ruby I think) who went above & beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening, she is such an asset to the restaurant. Our food was delicious, wine was good & service impeccable. Our room was ok, we were hoping to be in the main building, it were in the Priory which is a separate building, the room needed a little TLC, especially in the bathroom, it was overall clean & comfortable with a beautiful window seat. We had a lovely stay.
